One of them

As a fan of SF dystopian books and movies I wanted to work on a face that appeared as a glitch, something a bit off, fake and ominous. A mix of Resident Evil Red Queen and the Ghost In The Shell Major. What made the process quite interesting was to switch from a cellular pixelllated rendering to a linear one. This required a strong planification for the piece to be quite striking with visible instable lines – the glitch effect. The phrase One Of Them constantly came to my mind while working on the piece. This phrase, a hint at a Burial song, appealed to me with its mysterious feel, charged with a sense of alien presence.
