I created "Garfield" as a birthday gift for my teen that loves Garfield comics and LEGO. I incorporated different types of slopes and a rotation pattern to create texture and visual interest. The slopes also create a nice contrast to the flat tiles used in the background and outline, making Garfield to pop off of the background. Fans of all ages have enjoyed this classic comic strip character brought to life in brick form.
