Eight/Ninths is the culmination of an extended exploration into rounded plates and tiles. Its holes, gaps, and non-rectangular shape turned out to be an essential part of the emotion. I built it largely from small fragments pieced together during a darker time in my creative journey, before finally bringing them together into a whole... well, let's say Eight/Ninths of a whole.
